this is a special night for us. why? because our season kicks off here tonight and our season and the nfl's season will end in this booth in this stadium with the playing of super bowl xlviii on february 2nd, 2014. but, ply friends, we got a long way to go before we're talking about the super bowl. and we're talking preseason football, giants 9-7 a year ago. we'll talk about eli. but on the other side a young indianapolis team, an 11-win team and this quarterback, andrew luck, i know you can't wait to see him. i'm looking forward to watching him, seeing him play live, last year as a rookie, surpass everyone's expectations, the entire team did. as they move into the season, a lot of attention to the development of andrew luck, but so many young rookie players last year that are also going to be better. the supporting cast is going to be better. what they're looking for, they want to run the ball better and protect luck better. we'll get a chance to see how far they've come tonight. >> and you know what else we get to do,
